I had a discussion with B and j-hunter a few weeks ago in the chat and we touched upon the subject of ghosts and hauntings. I had mentioned how some strange occurances have been happening lately in my household. The incident I had mentioned was the toaster unplugging itself when I left the room for a minute. Well, When I woke up this morning I noticed the cellar door had been unlocked and left open a crack. (By the way, everyone had alrady gone to school or work). Naturally, I closed it up and locked the deadbolt and the small knob lock. After my shower I went towards my kitchen only to discover the damn thing was back open. No lies. This whole thing was a little funny at first, but Now I'm freaking out. Of course, it could just be a murderous cat burgler living in one of our rooms. Anyone else have any weird/crazy paranormal-like experiences.

Okay. That's really weird. Unless the door's broken or something... I've yet to experience the paranormal, though apparently the ghost of some great-aunt still haunts our house. She was always very energy-savvy, and used to go around and turn out all the unused lights. Occasionally one of us will enter a room that had the light on previously (with nobody else around, of course) and the light will be off. Pepper, maybe whoever/whatever is in your home is trying to tell you something. Is there something in the cellar you should look at?

Wow, that is a little scary. If there were a ghost in the house, that may not be the place to go. What if in its former life that was where this person resided for the night?

We were sitting at the dinner table one time and this lid on a container (it wasn't on tight it was just kind of laying on it) popped off and hit the floor. and sometimes I see these strange white figures go across our windows, but when I look outside nobody is there.

When I was a kid some of my toys multiplied. Honest to god.

And, in all seriousness, I almost played the Wii with a ghost. I woke up one morning and this girlish pale dude with a funny nose was standing above me. He asked me if I wanted to play the Wii with him. Of course, I ran like hell. When I got back, he was gone. D:

D: Four years ago, my grandfather (who died two years ago) was sitting at the dinner table with the rest of my family at christmas and there was an empty seat and in that seat he saw my aunt who has been dead for 8 years clear as day. He freaked out and ran to his room.

Back when I was in Elementary School, I researched ghosts all the time with my buds. I just remembered something just now, too. See, one day I was in my bed just sitting there (A LOOOONG TIME AGO) and I heard someone downstairs. They where just doing something in the kitchen. I decided to go check it out... and no one was there! I was young and was freaked out. Actually... now that I think of it, most of these "sightings" happened back when I was obsessed with ghosts. Probably my imagination, me thinks. But one REALLY FREAKY thing I just remembered while typing that happened only a few years ago. I was at my Dad's house. He had a REALLY tiny place. Only two rooms! Well, to make up for that, there was a bunk-bud. Anyways, My Dad was sleeping on the top bunk, I was sleeping on my bed, and Hero was sleeping on the floor (he was staying over that time). I was playing my GCN, I think, when I saw a blue light on the wall. I told Hero to look over there and he did. Yeah, he saw it, too. I was going to tell my Dad, but when I looked up at him, his head was covered in a blue light, too! Dude, it was freaky! I doubt Hero still remembers, but he was there. And the story about the MJ ghost was a lie.

I freaked out once while I was sitting in my room, with no doors open. And a lanyard with a key on it hanging from a lamp, just suddenly started swinging. I was sitting right next to it, and there's nothing I can come up with to explain it. It was hanging still, and there were no drafts in my room, let alone a draft strong enough to make it swing that much. And yes, I do believe in ghosts.
