halo 3 VIP? WTF?
this game feels so broken... because nobody ever defends the vip they always rush to kill the enemy vip which makes our vip defenseless against the hordes of opponents attacking him and the few good souls (only me) who do try and defend the vip get no points. wtf?

Yeah, I hate VIP. Only played a few games though. Mostly on Vahalla. If you're the VIP, crouch in the corner of the base and smack anyone daring to come in. Usually works decently...

Yeah, it's good on paper, but nobody ever plays it right. Same thing with king of the hill games. Most people just kill everyone they see without going to the hill. I always die before I even get close to it.

I'm a lone defender usually, and they'll thank me and shit, but then I get VIP next round, and I'm ditched. Not fun. Why does Karma hate so hard?

That's why me and my friend play on VIP together, and at least one of us guards the VIP at all times. Sometimes we both do, and when one of us is the VIP, we fight together, and since my friend is good at not dying, it works quite well. But for the most part nobody has a clue how to play it.
