Do you think in Assassin's Creed... ...that the ancestor's-memories-in-your-DNA thing is unbelievable? If person had a kid, then the parent had a memory, then the kid wouldn't have said memory implanted in their DNA.
(If you haven't played Assassin's Creed, you live in 2012 and get kidnapped by a scientist who has been researching DNA and found out that each of your ancestor's memories are stored in your DNA. Your ancestor is Altair, who you control through the means of a device called the Animus, which decodes these memories and lets you relive them.)
I know, it's something stupid, but it bothered me when playing the beginning parts of the game (I don't own it, T-Top does). What do you think?

It's not something I believe as an actual story, or something that could really happen, but I think it's just a good job done at creating a memorable game.
I haven't played it, but it sounds like something they made up that might sound realistic, and would make Assassians Creed memorable over the tons of other 360 single player titles.

I stumbled upon the beginning of the game, not major spoilers, but it's the first 4 and a half minutes of the game, explaining the memory stuff. Clicky.
At first when I played the game (Friday night) I kinda found the DNA thing annoying. T-Top says it doesn't bother him, but at the time all our opinions were conflicting and my tendency to debate a topic to death took over. :P I dunno. Now I guess it's better than anything else they might have done to create some kind of storyline.
And I can't remove the poll. *Damn*

I deleted it for you.
Anyway, it sounds like an interesting storyline to me, and it's better than some of the more recent games I've played.
