the demo is basically only good for showing off the battle system. which admittedly isn't incredibly unique or awesome but it does the job well enough.
im only two hours into the real thing, but so far it's all very charming. i could see some people interpreting it as corny rather than charming, but i never expected a deep plot with serious characters, so im really enjoying the game for what it is. also, the soundtrack is pretty fantastic.

I wouldn't rent it for 2 reasons
1. It's a 50+ hour long game - not something you can beat in a weekend or even a week
2. It takes up 3 disks. You can't really rely on a rental place to know that, so you may end up with a third of the game
go with circuitcity if you want a good deal. $20 off :worship:

This game has some moments that repulsed me "the devee dances" *shudders* but I really like it. The achievements are hard as hell.

The animations were smooth but still were lacking severely for me.

I have way too many games I need to buy. I'll definitally add blue dragon to the list.
So far, Crackdown is top proioritiy, followed closely by bioshock.
